Standard Poodle Pictures & Information

Gumbo visited his cousin Bingo this weekend. It was a rainy weekend, but Gumbo and his cousin, a Parti Poodle, had a good time anyway.

Gumbo got a trim today. We left his body hair as is, but cut his face, feet and tail. After that we were playing in the yard and the sun just got to bright for him so he had to put on his shades.

He’s One Cool Dude!

Gumbo has decided to expand his boundaries and start his own Facebook page. Here he will share photos, videos and more with hopefully many, many people who love Poodles or any other dog. It is very easy for fans of Gumbo to post their own photos and videos on Facebook.

It’s cold here today and Gumbo wanted to wear his Cowboy hat. This is a picture of him wearing it in the back yard. He does amazingly well with it, doesn’t really seem to mind wearing it.

Some things have changed around my house. Creole and Judi have moved away, so this site is now all about Gumbo and his Standard Poodle friends.

Hello all! I just wanted to introduce myself and my kids - I have Izzy, a 2 year old black standard and now our apricot baby Cooper, who is 12 weeks old and Izzy’s birthday present from her daddy.  I groom and babysit Audi, a 5 year old cream poodle and his sister Molly, a 1 year old white poodle - 4 standards is alot of fun!  We also have big brother Gideon, a Great Dane, Dalmation mix who is really confused when the clippers start up!

It’s been a crazy year for my people parents. However, they wanted to post some photos of me –with my brother, Apollo playing; Time with my playday Teacher, Ms. Suzette; after my Daddy’s birthday party,etc. I couldn’t have asked for a better year - except that I did get fixed. No fun. What were they thinking? So what I was having “too much fun” at the pupper park!! Mommy and Daddy have spoiled me. All I have to do is show my brown pupper eyes and I get what I want! Life is swell. I heard my Daddy, Max, went to Raspberry Woods Standard Poodles. He’s a lot happier has acres and a lake to run/swim. Our Momma, Meg, is doing great she’s now a retriever, like me. My Daddy taught me to retrieve from when I was 9 weeks old. FUN!!!! My people parents play football with me everyday. I just love catching balls and running with them! Max is like me — needs lots of attention and cuddle time and believe me, returns more love than any human can ever want. Hanging out in bed with Daddy right now………..love to cuddle and sleep!!!! Just wanted to say hi to everyone…..My People Momma has been trying to upload photos without success they may appear seperately.

Just popping in to say Hi again. Ive been growing out Isabellas face and coat for a grooming competion here in South Australia and I just spent 3 hours grooming her just washing drying and dematting becasue she is coat changing as well at the momnet so here are her newest pics!

I took Gumbo to the local May Days festival today. Judi is out of town, so I only took one dog and Gumbo drew the long straw. While we were there, he spent his allowance on a cowboy hat. He loves it. He says it makes him look like John Wayne.

After this picture and video were taken, I realized it looks much better if it is moved forward on his head, but I didn’t get any images of that. He says he wants to rope cats. I tried to tell him it was steer that cowboys rope, but he insists on roping cats
